Jim Elliott

Bringing a New Voice to Regina

Here is the scoop.  Most of the parts of an election campaign costs money.  If you feel I am worthy of support, donate money.  If you feel that I am the best to raise the issues that need to be addressed, donate money.  If you feel that I am the best candidate for Mayor, donate money.  If you feel that I can really make a difference, donate money.

I need to raise at least $15,000 to provide a reasonable campaign and get the information in front of the voters.  If you are looking at running for Council or either of the School Boards, I would like to talk to you.

I also need canvassers, people to drop off leaflets or put up lawn signs and help organize volunteers.  Check out the other page, Getting Involved.

So, if you can help, let me know at jimelliottformayor@gmail.com or call me at 551-8500 or 352-4804.

Donations can be sent to 2108 Reynolds Street, Regina, Saskatchewan.  S4N 3N1.  Make cheques out to “Jim Elliott for Mayor”.

is it even legal for any of u to be accepting donations when yur name isn’t even on the list yet ? according to the city of regina page : * no one is actually a candidate until the City Clerk accepts the official nomination papers in September.

    • It is legal to receive donations even before the nominations papers are entered. I have a legally registered bank account for my campaign and any donations that I receive prior to the election must go into that account. And any expenses that are declared after the election must be accounted for to the City Clerk’s office. I believe that any expenses spent in the six months prior to the election date have to be declared on that post election financial statement.
